Michael Gyampo : studio 1

Mike Gyampo, born in Ghana 1950, into the Agyampone family of educators and artists. Mike obtained his B.A. (Hons) in Sculpture from the College of Art, University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and an M.A. (Part 1) from Institute of African Studies in visual arts, Traditional African religion and musicology. Worked as Assistant Secretary to the National Association of Ghanaian Artist headquarters in Accra, Ghana, the National Museum as well as TV set designer at the National Broadcasting station, before leaving to America to advance his studies in the technology of metal sculpture.

Mike has exhibited extensively, his works are in private and corporate collection, here in the United States , Ghana, France, Germany, Japan and Britain.
