Megan Uhaze-Wear : studio 18

Megan is a Trenton based artist, who received her BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, majoring in Art History as well as Two-Dimensional Fina Art Painting.  She currently works as a full-time artist and painter for The Seward Johnson Atelier.  Her work is primarily painting, working on wood board as well as Masonite panels and other hard found surfaces.  Her work is about the exploration of colors, and their relationship to one another, invoking this trough pattern and design and then incorporating her subject into the mix.  Her current body of work is "Species."  This series focuses on different endangered species, to bring light to their condition.  She has previously exhibited at the West Windsor Arts Council, the DR Greenway Land Trust Gallery, Ellarslie Museum, Mercer County Artists, Artworks Trenton and many solo shows at Trenton Social.
